Was dinner good? about presets for ARC??
Presets for ARC? or presets for ACR (Adobe Camera Raw)....? If the latter, here's a link to some free ones that have their own installer:

Not sure where they wind up; I opted for the presets for Lightroom instead.

Happy New Year! (celebrating on Eastern time because this old man isn't going to make it to midnight CST....)

Thanks Chuck, I am about ready for bed also. I did need ACR, brunette moment. Last question and it doesn't need to be answered right away. I have purchased some plug-ins that I use in elements can I also use them in CS3. By that I mean can I legally install them in both places. Will it even work like that? I would like to keep them in both programs if I can. Am I making any sense at all.
Suzi, my guess is that you'll be able to install them in both places, but I don't know whether there's a counter on the install routine that comes with the plug-in(s). My feeling is that if you're using them on the same computer, you're not in violation of the licensing agreement. But then I haven't read the fine print.... ;)

And so to bed....

Thanks Chuck, I think I will e-mail the companies and see what they say on doing that. That way I will get it right. there are only 3 or 4 that I would like to have on both.
Photoshop TV from the NAPP site dedicates the 12/31/07 show to nothing but quick tips for CS3. It's a longer than usual episode (45 minutes or so) and I picked up LOTS of good quick tips. The current episode is always available to non-NAPP members ... so it should be available til 1/7/08. URL is http://www.photoshopusertv.com

Hope that you find some good tips.

Chuck, I got ahold of the imagenomic company and it is too easy to have the noiseware plug-in work in both elements and CS3. I am going to post his directions in case anyone else wants to do this. I would imagine it would also work in reverse. If you have it in CS and want to include elements. You need to type in the whole path to either elements or CS

To add Noiseware to your CS3 installation, please go to Start menu >
Programs > Imagenomic > Noiseware Professional Plug-in , and click on
the "Modify Noiseware Professional Plug-in installation".

Then you will be able to add or remove host programs - just add CS3.
