greyed out..mine is not greyed out? What are you doing when it is greyed out?

Susan, I'm still researching the question on preserving history, but I think the answer is no. Still looking, though.

it will crop if I select the tool. that is not what I was used to doing.
I would go to edit and select crop. if I do that it is grayed out?
not anyone else's?

OH! You mean Image>Crop. Yes, it's grayed out - until you make a horizontal marquee selection. Then it will come to life and be ready to crop.

Reka, I just tried it and it works great. I set it to text log, did a little editing to an image, saved it. then I went and opened the log and there was a very detailed report of all the edits I did. This is going to be so handy as I very seldom write down what I do. Next thing I want to check is if it also does it when I use the save as option. Thank you so very very much for finding the info!!!!!
