Okay, I have been puzzling over how I did this. I will include the Layer Palette here and just make a few comments, since I was TOO STUPID to write down the steps I took. I did a lot of trial and error and created and deleted enough layers to make your head spin in the process.

I know I did a lens flare, then desaturated it because it makes a red glow. I also spherized one layer along the way and did a levels adjustment to darken everything up a bit. I selected the blown out white part of the lens flare and feathered it a bit and filled that with white on a new layer to emphasize that some. The top layer is just a stamp layer.

Sorry about that, guys, but I got a translation in in the meantime and had to get it done. In that short period of time, Alzheimer's reared its ugly head and I forgot a lot...

Thanks Reka, I think I will stick with the using your bead instead of trying to duplicate what you think you did.

I made 2 pearls. Do you like the top or bottom one? Try and imagine them small, used in a LO.

I like the top one. It is not as yellow....

I like the bottom one. You can always change the color, but it looks rounder to me. The top one looks flat.

I can always put both.

I had to look for this one, but it is one I came up with while trying to get the silvery one done. It is a PNG file for anyone who wants it.
