Layers Magazine Tut for CS

Tried this today. Very quick, very easy. I did add some sharpening but I think it made quite a difference.
What do you think?

That depends, which is the before and the after. The one on the right looks pretty darn good

Kimi, I agree with Suzi, the one on the right looks pretty darn good.

It's written for Photoshop, but with the setup described for channels in the last newsletter and the curves adjustment in PSE5 or PSE6 you can do it in Elements.
- Enhance/adjust colors/adjust color curves/ then move sliders + or - for highlights and shadows to get the same S-curves or inverted S-curves as in the tutorial.
Of course, smartcurves will do it.
With older versions of Elements, you'll have to simulate curves with a standard black/white gradient adjustment map in luminosity mode.
