Photoshop Creative

I am reading Martin Evening's Adobe Photoshop CS3 for photographers and I discovered I can color code menu items I use frequently.
This is a nice feature and has made it easier for me to locate menu items I use frequently

Now if I can figure out how to figure out..... which actions are which? I have several of Adrienne's actions from Shutterfreaks and also several from Panos FX. They list by word description, not thumbnail view.
Perhaps after I use them enough I will remember which is which

Can you do this in CS2? I think that would be useful.

I do not know. I only have CS3.

Shelia, thanks for the tip. I am just starting in PS with CS3. Is the book you are reading a good one for a beginner?

The book is VERY BIG. I like it because it has a lot of information. It is a reference book, probably more than a reading book. I keep it out and sit and read through different parts when I have time and then try those.
I keep it out on my computer desk and it has not yet let me down for answers to questions.
I like to have a book with lots of information and one I can refer to when I have a question or problem. I have checked out others at the library and some are more into entertainment than reference and informational material.
This is my first book by this author. There are a lot of CS3 books.
I do like this one, but it is a college manual on the product. I have read they are using it in some classes. It is not difficult to read and I can understand what it is saying.
It depends on the type of book a person is looking for.
This book meets my needs for a reference and informational book on CS3.
