Photoshop Creative

Help!

I am working on the crop challenge and made myself do it in CS. I have a frame open and I want to add it to my image. I usually drag one layer to the other document. I can't get that to work.

Can someone tell me what to do without laughing at me...

Kimi, did you try the same maneuver in Elements and did it work there?

It's what I have always done. Drag the layer from one document to the other. (in Elements)

You got it in CS? What turned out to be the issue?

I had one of those light bulb moments.

I was trying to grab a frame and had not played in CS much and my auto select was still checked. So I was grabbing empty pixels. Turned that stupid auto select off and I was fine.

Note to self: "Turn off Auto Select".....

Kimi, I had a problem dragging something into a photo yesterday doing Jane's Sketch Challenge and I remembered seeing this thread and unchecked auto select and I was good to go.

I just wanted to thank you for posting back what you did to fix the problem.
