Photoshop Creative

I am finding some really cool brushes but they are coming in as rar files. The site is saying they are photoshop brushes but CS3 won't open them.

Can someone please enlighten me...

Kimi, it is a different type of compression file like zip. you need a special decompression program.

edit: on further research winzip now has the capablility of opening rar files. you need to download the new version

WinZip will work with rar files. Perhaps another zip utility you have will also work with the rar files.

I used a nice little program called UnZipThemAll.

They want me to pay to upgrade winzip.
I am using the evaluation trial period version.

some one posted a free program to open them called newztools, i downloaded this and open my rar files with it. Sorry i do not know the address to it.

What I like about UnZipThemAll is that it sees all the compressed files in whatever folder you're using and processes all of them at once.
