Photoshop Creative

I am looking for a book on CS4. Many are not due out for several months and I need it now and want to get a full years use before they put out another version.
Does anyone know anything about this author, Deke McClelland ? I see he has one out now.

From what I have heard he is really good. I would buy his book.

I got the Deke McClelland book for Christmas and it is a good book and the DVD that comes with it is educational.

However, I also got
The Missing Manual for Photoshop CS4 by Lesa Snider King and it is excellent/wonderful!
