Hi:
I want to place a stroke on a picture but when I draw the rectangular marquee the corners turn rounded and give me a vignette efect isted of the stroke line. What I'm doing wrong?

I think you are using the wrong marquee maybe. The one you need is the 2nd tool from the top. If you are using that one, check your feathering amount. It might be set high!!

Feathering is the most likely culprit.
I have screwed up too many times to count by forgetting to reset to "0" after setting a feather. Days later I use that tool and don't notice that something is set.
