A few days ago i received an email from Adobe for a special on CS4 for Elements users. I am thinking about it, but it might be more than I can adapt to. Anyone here bought the CS and now never use it, due to the complexity of the program?

A few years ago I switched from Elements to CS3. Elements is great software; however, I'd never go back.

CS3 is much better and, in my opinion, easier to use.

I would suggest that you keep both on your computer because there are a few things that Elements does that CS3 can't do as easy.

I have been told that CS4 is almost the same as CS3, but I have never used CS4 so I can't say for sure.
I upgraded as Russ to CS3. I have CS3 Extended. I also have CS4. Personally I prefer CS3 and use it more than 4. I can't remember the time I used Elements. In fact, when I bought a new laptop in September 08 I didn't even install Elements on it.

If you do switch to CS4, besides the help you'll get from this site, here are two other really good sites that will help you learn it's tricks.
