Let's give our creativity and our knowledge of Photoshop a boost with this week's Pixel Perfect video with Bert Monroy!

This week we will see a video that is patterned to animate our imagination!

Here is the embedded video page, and here is the high definition link (much better quality, but large file: 60-120MB).

Feel free to download this image I have prepared to use in the tutorial (low quality screen copy). You will also need a new file, 800x600px, 72 dpi, white, with a new layer on top. It may also help you to set your grid preferences (Edit>Preferences>Guides, Grid & Slices) to Gridlines every 1 inch and 11 subdivisions. That gives you a bit of a head start to concentrate on Bert's instructions. ;)

I have a quick questions. Is there a way to get a photo bin at the bottom of the page in CS like in Elements?

Not that I know of, though I would be glad if someone can prove me wrong. :D

I think the only way to get around that easily is to cascade or tile.

For some reason I couldn't figure out or fix, my first spot light area kept an outline. Here it is anyway, it is taking forever to start and I couldn't figure that out either.

Edit: figured out the delay for the start. On the first frame change the time to no delay

Reka, you did a great job. I don't know why that is there but I will have to try it again later.

Bill

Edit - Once I posted it it didn't play. :?: I saved it as a .gif file .... it plays really nicely in Photoshop, but not once I save it. Any guidance would be appreciated ... otherwise you can just sort of imagine the spotlight sweeping the area and settling on the seat of honor.
Bill, did you click the animate button also when you saved to web
Well, err, no. I'll give it another shot ... thanks Suzi.
