I finished my card and didn't in the end employ the techniques I really planned. I did start off with the background and changed it using the colour overlay layer style to blend with Rooby, but then I changed it more. It was a background by Cottage Arts and is called handmade grass paper, the texture shows better in the flesh than it does here.

Hat & box of biscuits were stock photos and the planets and stars are brushes - Starlight by Scully (great brushes!). The puppy is our Rooby, a snapshot I took of her when she was about 5 months old.

It has taken me nearly all day :o Still a lot of that time was tweaking it so none of the image or text was clipped by the printers. The text, stars and highlights are going to be done in foil so should look very glitzy and christmassy :)
