I can't find any answers?
I want to work in cascade mode.
I have selected, Consolidate all to tabs, Float all in window and Cascade.
But every time I open the software new, it is back to the other way.

Can anyone help?

Kimi,

Try this: Edit, Preferences, Interface and remove check from Open Documents as Tabs

Change Preferences, close and restart. Should open in cascade mode - does in mine.

Good to hear.

P.S. One of the other great things in CS3/4/5 (at least) is the Window, Workspace, New Workspace which allows you to save the workspace layout.

Allows you to have different settings for different operations - includes panels layout and menu settings.

yep, my workspace is already saved. I had the hardest time to get my layer panel to dock.
