Thanks Courtney and Linda. You gotta love teenage boys. He didn't want to smile at all. His fake smile is terrible so I really had to trick him. Having Quila (my Yorkie) with me helped. He was being so silly jumping in and out of the woods behind him.

Saw a notice in the church bulletin a week or so ago; when I read wacky, wet, wild, swimwear, shoes suitable for running, children under the age of ten..., I just had to think: PHOTO OP! Must be a real Kodak Moment here:

I think the photographer had as much fun as the kids. I gotta tell you about one little boy, after the second game he looked like he might tear up as he exclaimed, "It's not fair. The girls have won both games."

When I told DW her comment was, "Get used to it, kid. Girls usually beat the boys at that age!"

(The boys soundly won the next game so all was right in his world again)
