Betty, I use mostly photoshop elements filters & blend modes, hardly ever other programs. I do download actions but alot of times I don't take the time to install or use them. One thing I do alot is download tons of background textures, fonts & brushes. The tree background I made with a photo I took. Here is the background textures & blend modes I used for this one. The photos I just did the poster edge filter with the border around each one. I keep trying different backgrounds till I like the look of it.
