Here is a photo I just found of my favorite dog, his name was Casey and he was a Great Dane. He weighted in at 175 and was taller than me when he stood up. I'm 5' 8" so you get the idea. I will be doing a scrap page with my 2 favorite photos of him. I miss him dearly. I'm in search of the other photo so I can scan it. Just thought I would share.

He is big!!!! but looks very sweet
Small story about Casey and his demeaner. I would sit on the couch and then my boyfriend or any male would sit next to me. God forbid our legs were touching. Casey would get nose to nose with him and then rub on me, circle around and back up to sit on the couch. His spot would be to place his narrow little butt inbetween our legs and wiggle until he touched the couch with his butt. Then he would lean his entire body on me and fall into my lap. Letting that person know Casey is my man!!!! He was very sweet about being protective. His size was all he needed. My Gentle Giant! This happend everytime so it wasn't random. He had other little tricks but this one was really funny and fits the Great Dane personalilty.

What a big hunk! Funny how they van get their point across without words. :D
Looks like he wants to dance. My aunt had a great dane and he was just the biggest lovable thing. He greeted everyone face to face, literally.

THat is the breed and I just loved him. Another funny thing he like to do was ride in the car. I had a little Honda Prelude at the time. Good for him it had a sunroof. We would drive down the road and he had his front paws on the front seats (yes, I had to share) and he stuck his head out of the roof. His face would fill with air and ears flopped back. Funny thing to see coming down the road. My father has always hated that he didn't get a picture of us as we drove off or came home. Me too for that matter.
