For any one interested in learning about digital photography I will recomend the following magazines:
1-Digital Photo the UK best -selling photo magazine is my favorite expensive but it worth every penny.
2-Digital Photo Pro is a USA publication and it is a fairly good publication

For Fine Art Photography specially if you want to see first class black and white images I recommend the following:
1- Lens Work is a Canadian Publication with superb quality http://www.lenswork.com
2- Focus http://www.focusmag.info

For industry news I recommend:
1- PDN Photo District News

I took Digital Photo some years ago but found like most magazines that after a year it became repetitive. I also found it was more biased towards editing rather than taking photographs.

Of course it depends on what you want out of a magazine.

Now I take Photography Monthly (UK) but not every month. Seems to me to have a better balance of Photography v Editing although it too gets a little repetitive.

Colin, I think they are produce by the same people. One is directed toward Photoshop and the other toward picture taking and some Photoshop.
