Have been chatting about Montana's Hi-Line on another thread. Here's a photo of an abandoned farm home a few miles from Rudyard. Took the Hi-Line trip a few years ago.

Mary, I posted this here two years ago ... don't remember the theme. But, it could fit for "down the rode" from your house. This was alongside Hwy-2 in North Dakota.

What I find interesting are the dates: 1897-1959. Wow, they kept that one going a long time.

Mary and Rusty, both of those photos would look great doing a HDR effect on them. If you don't have the 3 bracket shots try a pseudo HDR.

Speaking of old schools - as in Rusty's post.

My grandfather was born in 1880 in the small town of Silver Plume, Colorado. The photo below is the school he attended as he was growing up. The top photo is a picture I took of a post card. The lower photo is the best I was able to do with all the trees, building and things blocking the view of the school.

Summer is just about here. It sure would be nice to see some of the places visited by our forum friends, who don't wish to start new threads for their special photos :)

Betty, I like your suggestion. As most of you know I was in Yosemite a few weeks ago. My DW's cousin lives near Yosemite and teaches at the history center. Below are two pictures I took at the center.

Judy, I agree with you - lots of fun.

Here's another photo of the carriage ride. It's had to tell what they're exiting, but I was there so I can say that it's a covered bridge that goes over a fairly large stream.

Here's a photo of the stream the covered bridge spans.

To see the photo larger (a much better image) open the link below. If you open the link below and the picture is too large for your screen you can click on one of the smaller links located just above the picture to the left of center.
