Has anyone ever seen photos printed on metal? I have been reading a little about them and wondered if anyone has actually done this. There are several Labs that do this work and it seems kind of neat and different. the one I was reading was from Bay photo lab.

I have seen quite a few in Milwaukee galleries that specialize in photography.

Probably an obvious observation is that it works well for some images and is not at all suitable for others. Anything featuring bright, vibrant colors really pops on metal.

I've never seen any, but it sounds interesting. I've seen advertisements from Mpix for prints on metallic paper, but have not seen any of those in person either.

I saw a few displayed at Photoshop World and they were totally awesome!

They are indeed fabulous with the right photo as Rusty describes-also anything shiny works well.
