I have to say i typed in sun dog photos. And i was not nearly as impressed as i was with the ones you two posted.

Judy if you do a search for Ice Cloud rainbows you'll find many pictures.

Mine was taken in September of last year off Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks. If I remember correctly, the sun would have been to the left of the sun dog in this one.

The sun was to the left of my rainbow too.
