eye eye eye i missed most of the parade and i sure wanted to take photos. How about showing me yours so i can enjoy your parade.

No parade for me, but I can give you a couple pictures of our little celebration of independence day. Because the sun doesn't set until 9:50pm right now, it is still sunny at Chris' bedtime. Not ideal sparkler conditions, so we have to light them in the garage. I experimented with a couple different shutter speeds and slow-sync flash.
Did anyone get any fireworks shots?

Just discovered this thread, and I did attend our local parade, so here are a few hastily snapped shots.
"When's this parade gonna' start?" shouts one of the kids.

Small town parades are the absolute best.
I almost always go to ours, and post a few pics here, but I had to skip this year. It was approaching 100° about the time I was going to leave the house. I just couldn't hack that so I hid in my air conditioned house.
Wherever you were looks like where I live!

PS - yes, it did break 100 later that day.
