We are at that time of the year that showcases the beauty of the fall season.
How about posting some views of what it looks like where you live?

I'll start it off with what we can see around here in SE Wisconsin. The newspaper says we are at about 40% color.

These were all taken Saturday from a high point near my house.

Oh Rusty what awesome photos. I will try this weekend to take a few photos.
Thanks Rusty. That is one of the very few things I miss about living here in South Florida. We only have two colors, green ro brown and on the ground. Great shots, really liken them

I'm glad you started this thread when you did because I got out and took some photos the day before the cold and rain and wind came. Many of the leaves have been blown off and it isn't looking as nice anymore.

I live on a corner and on one street there are elm trees, the other street has ash trees. They both turn yellow, but at slightly different times and slightly different shades of yellow. If you want to see reds and oranges up here you usually only find them on the bushes. I used Topaz to liven up my photos.

Rusty, great idea to start this thread. The forum needed it.
Wonderful captures & processing of the beautiful colors in your vicinity.

Courtney, your images are wonderful also. It's hard to believe that your fall seems to be moving towards winter so quickly. Our area is starting to have nippy nights occasionally, so I'm hoping fall colors will develop soon.

I'm looking forward to more fall images shared on this thread.

Unlike my views, Courtney has wonderful sky to go with the bright colors.

Here are three that I didn't have to go far to get. All three were taken within fifty yards of my house; and, boy, do we have reds and oranges to go with yellow:

We do have some wind at times and some of the trees are already starting to lose a lot of the leaves.

I really enjoy looking at the pictures of the fall colors. I do miss seeing those and also the smell of burning leaves. So. AZ doesn't have colors like that; however, No. AZ has beautiful colors.

Rusty, those are the colors I remember from No. IL when I lived there.
wow Rusty i just love the last photo.
All of these should be in the Orange photo contest - loving this thread! http://www.prestophoto.com/contests/327
