The North Central Texas drought area enjoyed a wonderful rainy Christmas morning. Then there was high winds & about 4 inches of snow.

Snowy egret from last August. Trying to catch up on last years photos.

I did not go down to the lakefront yesterday to watch the Polar Bear Club do their thing. I did, however, go to the Fox River Dam in Waukesha today to see what the ducks were up to. I laughed out loud watching them walk around on top of the ice (little feet just flapping away). There is about 20 feet of flowing water right before the dam and, then, a lot more below the dam.
