Geoff,
Love the photo of the dog but it has a severe case of pet eye.
If you go to --
http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/redeye ... Photos.htmThere is a great way of curing this, it's simple also.
Have posted an image to show what I did quickly.
Kev.

Great! I'd heard about something like this before - now I've got it bookmarked for the future. Thanks, Kev!
Oddly, I've never needed to fix "pet-eye' for my own dog - if anything I get a little blue reflection but I usually just select them and darken them or paint them over.
Here's one with a faint bit of blue left - no processing done to the eyes. There again, the great big red tongue does cause a distraction!

Kev, thanks for posting this link. Everyone in my family has from one to four dogs, and I take quite a few dog pictures.
Below are before and after versions of Krystal responding to the command "smile Krystal". I used the method in the link you posted.

Great job, Alpha. At first I thought you used the liquify tool on the poor pouch. How neat that you can get him or her to smile.

Kev,
I just caught this thread. Thanks for contributing. Can you walk me through what you did, it looks fantastic. And I agree the tongue is less than optimal, the other shots were worse.
