I came across these from a site Betty "bjt" referred me to. You may find these textures handy.
Instructions: Go to the link above, Start the Slide Show, Go to Slide 3, choose the textures you want, Download, Expand, Enjoy.

If you like them you might want to send a thank you note to the Site Creator. I believe the site creator is from another country, not sure what language. Anyone know what language this word is from, it means "Home" --> Accueil (I googled the word and I now believe it is French)

Here is one I applied to my Daughter's portrait just for fun... allowing it to overlap with her hair and some on her skin for style.

There is a link to her blog. That is what I subscribed to.
On the right side I saw the word brushes.
It brings you back to a slide show for textures. Kinda like a circle but it works.
