I have tried and tried this over and over with the result not so good. My photo turns out with to much color showing in the background. How did you get the background to go more white? I will stick with this until I get just what I want because I love the effect it gives. Help!!

Tina, It might not work as well on some photos. Is the background in the original photo dark or dark colors? If you notice on my sideline result the dark background is showing through at the top making it not all white. Try duplicating the top layer again & doing the shadows/highlight slider to the right, this might increase the white again. Then start erasing again. I will have to try it on a few photos to see the results.

I used Lighter Color for the blend mode on my 3rd layer.
