Byron, I have been trying to figure that one out too.

I just saw where someone posted instructions for that - but now I can't find the thread where it was...

You can put a link in the text by using BB code, thus:

Code: Select all

 [url=www.whateveritis.urp]This is the text that is the link[/url] 

It's the same "BB code" we had in that other place, and which seems to be a standard in every different BB I've ever been to.

I'm used to the simple way we had it at PET, so don't know BB Code equivalents... yet.

Could you explain exactly how to do it please. I found the code button but I still don't see how to make the word the link.

This is what my gallery link looks like in the text of my signature box:

url=http://www.prestophoto.com/photos/gallery/19733]Kevin's Gallery[/url]"

This places the link into the signature and replaces it with the text "Kevin's Gallery" in green. Hope this helps. There is an open bracket at the beginning that I removed so I could post the text.

If you want a link in your signature to your gallery you add a line as follows.

[url=http://www.prestophoto.com/photos/gallery/YOUR GAllERY#]THE WORDS YOU WANT TO APPEAR[/url]

I'm used to the other way too - I'll check and see if we can switch, or rather I'll check and see if Christian can switch it.... I need to take a break from staring at the screen and go get some meds for my kids.

....and that's not really my gallery it's just the only picture I have on my computer at work!!!
