Now, I'm really confused. I tried googling my screen name and came up w/the PET forum links on a website called "boardreader.com". A lot of the users name came up on this website. Click on link and let me know what you think. Does anybody know what Boardreader is?

I'm not familiar with that boardreader, although I'm not at all surprised that a user name shows up in a google search - heck my name as well as my user name show up there all the time.

Michelle, me to. That is why it confused me. Oh well, if any of you guys here on the forum knows what that web site is all about, it would be nice to know.
I got this information from http://boardreader.com/info/about.htm

BoardReader was developed to address the shortcomings of current search engine technology to accurately find and display information contained on the Web's forums and message boards. Founded in May 2000 by engineers and students from the University of Michigan, Boardreader uses proprietary software that allows users to search multiple message boards simultaneously, allowing users to share information in a truly global sense.

Our technology is based on innovative, scaleable software created to quickly and accurately search information contained on message boards. Message boards are part of the Internet known as the 'Invisible Web' and pose many problems to traditional search engine spiders. The dynamic content is usually very deep and hard to search. In addition, many of these sites change their locations, servers, or url's almost daily presenting special searching challenges.

Dane, thank you for the info. Another question though, why does the PET forum info come up under a seach but this forum doesn't? It doesn't matter either way to me, just wondering.
Because we aren't even a week old yet, and they've been around a few years. :)
