Just watched the latest "Killer Tip" on the new Quick Selection tool in PSE6, boy does that look like great thing! :)

Corey does a long promo about the Village at the end of the pod-cast. And says that he will be putting pod-casts up there when the site closes.
Jane, CS3 has it too...

This tool is amazing, Corey does a good job of explaining how to use it.

I personally thought that tool alone was worth the upgrade price from PSE5

From the comment Corey made I think it is only available in CS3 and PSE6....

I really must save my pennies and keep my sights set on getting CS4! Although a little upgrade to PSE6 couldn't hurt right....
Jane, it seems to me that so many people don't like PSE6 as much. I certainly wouldn't upgrade, even if I hadn't gotten use of CS3.

I personally like PSE 6,
it took a bit of getting used to from 5, and the add ons are much more difficult to put in than 5, but once you get into it t does run quite nicely.
I don't mind at all the color change, but then again I like lightroom and they both have a similar colors scheme.
I don't have PS2, or PS3 so I have to do all my detailed work in Elements, so some of the work arounds are essential to get down pat and things like layermask adjustments add ons are very handy.

I am saving up my pennies for CS3/4 or what ever is out when my pennies actually start adding up.

Thanks for the tip Jane. They are suppose to download for me automaticly but then I foget to see what is new. That is just what me and my husband were trying to figure out tonight. I'll have to watch it with him tomorrow.

p.s. - the quick select was one of the main reasons I did upgrade - now to just learn to use it! lol
