Hi I do not know which forum to post this in.
I have to get a Hearing aid I am going to get one with remote control have tried the others & am unable to manipulate the small controls when I cannot see them.
I am unable to follow the videos & more & more tuts are in video form.I can increase the volume but this does not help with the clarity.
I have read that the strong magnetic fields of a Computer can sometimes interfere with the signals of the hearing device.
Is there anybody using a hearing aid with their computer ?
Would you tell me your experiences or that of a friend maybe. ?

I have several friends that I know use hearing aids (don't know if they are digital) and I also know that these same people use PCs. I will probably not see them until this weekend at church. I will ask and see what they have to say.

Thanks Rusty .I have googled some more & read now that it is better with the LCD's than the old CRT's.
I would be interested if it helps any of your friends to follow video tuts.

I have been wearing hearing aids for 4 years now.

In fact, I just got a new pair from Anaheim Hearing Center.

The people there are very friendly and helpful.

I would suggest that you ask your question to them.

The site below has a section [contact us] that you can send them an email.

That being said, I have no problem understanding what my PC tells me.

Thanks Russ figured there has to be others out there like me.
I live on Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada. No large centre I can go to & only have 2 companies Beltone & Island Hearing Services. Thanks for the link I certainly know a bit more about H Aids now than what I did last week.
Have made an apptt for next week.
