I've decided to upgrade from PSE5 to PSE8. I currently use the organiser in PSE5 to tag and organise all my photos and scrap booking kits and I would really hate to lose all the current tags. Does anyone know what happens to the organiser tags when you upgrade from one version of Elements to another?

I have not kept version 5 of the organizer and I am currently using version 6.
As far as I know, the latest versions are able to recover the tags of older versions.
Also, I always use the option 'save metadada to files', which writes your tags into your photo files.
You can always use the older and newer version at the same time, so I would keep the older version until I am sure everything has been imported correctly.

I will be very unhappy if I lose those tags! I'll be backing up everything and resaving my actions, styles, brushes, etc to my external hard drive before I start and making sure that everything came across from PSE5 before I delete anything.
