This was the view we enjoyed as we looked out our room's window - looking to the left of center.

The rain you see off in the distance never got to us. Although it get get pretty windy.

The small body of water is a swimming hole - very cold water - melted snow.

Thanks Suzib. I had fun watching the couple in the photo above [the girl is on my side of the bench, bending down - setting up her camera to shot in 10 seconds]. She'd set it up and then run around to be with her boyfriend. They'd pose in one way or another, sometimes jumping in the air and other times just holding each other. They did that, and I watched, for about 30 minutes. It put a smile on my face.
Besides watch the couple taking pictures of themselves, I also enjoyed watching this guy and his wind kite - if that's what it's called.
