ISS fly-over

Last night The ISS passed, literally, right over my house. I had heard about it on our local news, one of the few times they got something right. I used F-8 @ 5 sec with 50 meter lens setting. Should have opened lens a little more, but I learned.

Bob,
That's so cool! Did you know where in the sky it would be, or did you just cross your fingers and hope the 50mm would include enough area? I'm guessing that's Orion's belt below it... or maybe not. I'm pretty clueless about the constellations.

I was told it would be coming from SW to NE with a two minute window. I thought low in the sky. Wrong.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw movement looked and turned the camera around took two exposures and then darkness took over. As far as Orion's belt, I know it isn't mine. My pants are still up. I'm like you with constellations. If theylre pointed out to me, great, other wise its a pretty bunch of stars in the night sky.
