Great looking hibiscus,Russ. Thanks for explaining the unsharp mask settings. That's what I like about working with Photoshop.....if you don't like the result, change it to your tastes.

Hmmmm, the "rule" I know of for de-haze sharpening is 20, 60, 0, not 60, 20, 0. I don't like to de-haze all my photos though; it only looks good to me on some of them.

For normal sharpening I always use a very small radius, such as .3 or .5. I'll sometimes use high-pass sharpening instead.

I don't know that I can choose which one is best, they are all different and it depends on what kind of look you are aiming for. Pretty flower photos.

Courtney, I often get things backwards. Sorry about that.

To see what difference it makes I tried both 60-20-0 and 20-60-0.

Here's another example. Maybe someone finds it interesting? I know that I do.

BTW: My DW cut these flowers and put them in our kitchen window. When I saw them I had to photograph them.
