Hi Don,

I think it unlikely that you will find anybody here on the forum that has BOTH of those and, thus, able to compare.

Suzi has Imagenomic and likes it. I have NeatImage and like it. I will admit, I have not yet learned to use the features and take the easy way out and let it "default" :D

Here is a review of Imagenomic

The "requirements" go thru Elements-5 but I think this review came out before PSE6 was released.

PS - here is a very short review on NeatImage (old - 2003)

I note what he says about careful study of the downloaded manual. Hmmmmm, maybe i better read the instructions anf get off "default"

I have both and I use Imagenomic Standalone program Neat Image plug-in. I think it is easier to use. They both do a great job though. If you go with Imagenomic get the plug in though. It is kind of a pain to have to go outside Elements or CS

Don,

Just to stir the pot a little, I have been using Noise Ninja for about about a year and wouldn't go without it.

The point made about the plug in is a very good one - I use it "when I have to" for shota taken at high ISO settings. The batch process is handy for the times I have shot lots and you can just set it up and let er go!

I originally tested out both Neat Image and Noise Ninja and went with the one that I had the easiest time getting into. They both do well in terms of dealing with noise and you can download and try out both of them to get the feeling for which one is better.

I've only ever used Neat Image but it has done really well for me so far.
