Easiest way I know of to "put them in a row" is to make a new, blank file.
Without any changes, the image goes from ACR (RAW) into Elements sized at 8.333 x 12.533 inches, @240ppi. I made a blank file sized exactly 4 times the width (8.333 x 4 = 33.332 inches) and the height of 12.533" plus 1 inch for my f-stop labels. Make the resolution of the new file exactly the same as the images, 240ppi.
Now, when you drag the images onto the blank file, they fit right next to each other without any resizing required.

PS - just don't have too many shots or you get confused on the arithmetic
