Have any of you shot with a chormakey background? Is it easy to work with in post production? Do you need special plug-ins or will what comes with Elements or CS3 work with it?
Hi Jane, i have a reversible blue to green chromakey background. Making a selection and putting the subject on a new background is a breeze. I have never had to use any extra plug-ins when using it. Been a while since I have used it.

Thanks Kim, do you remember if it got any sort of color cast off of it?
I've got a green chromakey background and like Kim said, making your selection and moving your subject off it is very easy. You select the background, then invert the selection. Takes just a few seconds to get done.

And if you keep your subject sufficiently away from the screen, you shouldn't pick up any color cast. But I don't remember picking one up from mine. I haven't used it in awhile, but I need to break it out and get some portrait work done for the family.
