I want to thank John Gray and Chuck S for their persuasive statements about this camera. I bought is yesterday afternoon and spent last night reading the manual. This morning took several test shots with it and I'm convinced this camera is a little wonder like brother John called it. I guest now that I own 2 Nikons and 2 Canons I'm a Nikanon man. :rotfl:

Diego has a new Toy! :woohoo:

I hope you enjoy the G 9 as much as I do.

Don Diego,
I am using the older G6 together with my 20D... I am very happy with both and I am sure you'll make the most of both tools. Just make sure you have your G9 with you for not missing special shots:
- unobstrusive, silent shooting
- shooting in places where 'pro' looking DSLRs are not admitted

My old G6 has still a bid advantage: the tilting display which allows shooting from the ground or over your head... and it can share the same batteries, cards, flashes.

Don, mine still goes everywhere with me - it has sent my 30D into retirement!

Hi people,

"Nikanon" sounds like a support group for camera junkies. The photography forums refer to LBA, or "Lens Buying Addiction", so maybe and LBA sufferer could go to Nikanon meetings and learn about the 12-f/stop program. :rotfl:

Too funny Steve! :rotfl:
Thank you amigos.
Like Chuck stated this camera sent in to retirement his other cameras. Well belive it or not this camera is doing the same thing to my cameras,LOL. Like Chuck I go every were with it.
Sunday I attended a Sweet 16 for my brother in law step dauther and I took it with me. WAO, she performed like a dream in a place that had very low ilumination. A bit of grain but I can live with that, nothing that Mr. Photoshop and I can't fix. I will recommend this camera blindly to any person looking to buy a point and shoot. I'am very bussy now with some holsters orders for Japan but as soon as I finish I will make a leather camera case to carry on my belt and a camera strap for it. After seen it perform she deserve it.
Shalom,
Don
