I've read the basic manual - the advanced manual is on CD, but it looks great.

I really feel that, as a non-driver, the size and weight of a DSLR would have been too hard to cope with, and I might find lens-changing a bit dificult as I have a very mild hand tremor.

Ann,
I've read a few reviews of this camera and all the comments were quite positive. I'd say it's the next best thing to a DSLR.

f/16 on a sunny day.....:)
I haven't found any problems and really appreciate the zoom and the macro, For me, it's a great camera..

I'm hoping retirement will enable me to use it more.
