He has what looks like great training video on the XSi. He also has one for the 40D for anyone interested.

Michael also hosts a website called Michael's Photography School. http://michaelthementor.com/
It looks pretty impressive to me. When you go to his website be sure your speakers are turned on as he has a video that starts up right away. He states in this video he thinks learning photography should be free and that is why he has this website!

The Canon Forum you mentioned I have known about for a short while. I registered there a couple months ago, and occasionally lurk there, but so far I have never posted a message there. Another good forum for Canon, as well as any other major brand is dpreview. There is a separate forum for each brand of camera at this site.

I was also told and found there are many videos of his on Youtube. I had to do a search for Michael Andrews Photography to find them. Doing a search on the name only brought up someone else with the same name first.
