Rusty, I packed "lightly and tightly" for this trip, and didn't think I'd have any opportunity to take pictures; that translated into the palm-sized 850 vs. its bigger cousin. Wound up with a few free hours today, but Mother Nature isn't in a particularly cooperative mode. But I did want to check that scene mode vs. your recommendations. And, of course, your advice was spot on!
