This is a great thread for traveling down memory lane.... :)
I cut my photographic teeth doing wet darkroom work while in the military. I spent many a weekend at the base photo hobby shop knee deep in D76 and photoflow. I really don't miss it one bit. Back then (circa 1968) the big thing was to do as grainless a print as possible. Remember Panatomic X at ASA 32? Now we have programs that put grain back into digital photos....go figure?

Yes, Chas, panatomic developped in diluted Agfa Rodinal to gain edge acutance... the sharpening method of old days!

My dad at one time when I was much younger did some developing and had a dark room set up for B&W. He tried color, but never could get the hang of it. At that point in time, I had other interests and never joined him. I think he has the equipment still sitting in that room.
