Anyone up to an image challenge.
I have been watching on the side of the road for dandelion. I want a dandelion picture so bad.
I have no idea when the weed blooms. I don't know if they grow everywhere but I am putting this out there. Show us your best dandelion picture.

here is a link to what they look like just in case you don't know.

You gotta wait a month or so to see anything from the folks this far north. Don't know about Cajun Country, your weather should be warm enough now, don't know how common this weed is down there. Can you believe that European settlers actually introduced this damn thing here on purpose!!! :x

My goodness, I assumed there was nowhere in North America that you'd have trouble finding plenty of dandelions, at least in season. I've seen them up in the mountain passes here(Canadian Rockies), which is such a shame because they certainly are not native alpine wildflowers. Today I was digging up the weed infested grass-less strip of "lawn" right next to my house foundation. And I found dandelions, leaves still below the surface but greening up already! Keep in mind, half of my lawn is still covered in old compacted snow, but the dandelions are growing before anything else. Dandelions are very persistent, hardy, perennial weeds.

I have an old picture of a scraggly dandelion that for some reason I've always really liked. I inverted it and just love the weird colors and scraggliness. I've been meaning to have a small print made and put it up, but never get around to doing it.

Angela, I really like your Dandelion Dreams picture.
