Christell.. I keep seeing how you take such wonderful action shots and I find them to be really really difficult. Would you mind sharing some tips??

Michelle & Angela,
My husband has been helping me with settings. I used to only shoot on Auto & now have been using Manual & trying out RAW. I will have to check what I used on the wakeboarding ones. The sun was really bright & had to keep adjusting from the direction the boat was heading. I was standing in the boat trying to get these shots while we were moving fast & bumping sometimes. i shot a few with his head cut off when I tried to zoom in too close.
I will post again when I check my pictures.
Thanks, Christell

Here are a few I checked what the info was: I hope it shows what you asked for. On a sunny day you shouldn't have trouble with stopping action unless you were moving in a boat like me. There were a few that showed f/4.5 1/2000 and f/3.5 1/2000
Nikon D200
Nikkor 70-20mm-f2.8 lens

I also forgot to add that with my action shots I always shoot in continuous mode & follow the action panning across what ever they are doing. You are bound to get one good one in the batch of shots. Very seldom do I take one photo at a time in action photography.
