Moonlight on the Water

This was taken while on the ferry from Ocrakoke Island to Hatteras Island, about 10PM. The moon was full and the skies were clear. This doesn't really do the scene justice:

You can. I just tried thinking outside the box a bit on this one and took a chance. All I would have wasted were a few million 1's and 0's.

Great catch Gene. It is not easy to get a shot like this while riding on a moving boat.

I looked at the EXIF info on that and echo what Joe said.
I was amazed at the shutter speed used.
