I believe it always adds more interest to have something in the frame other than "just fireworks".

Thank You Rusty and Russ. Adding a foreground or background to fireworks does add more interest to the image than fireworks alone. Not only does it add interest, it gives a perspective as to the enormous size of the fireworks.
