Courtney, Chas, Judy, Russ, Julie & Anita, thank you for all the nice comments, glad you all like it. It started with the original photo that had a distracting background behind the upper part of the sails. I decided that an OOB was in order, but it needed something else to make it pop. I used a wood texture from my textures library and downloaded the pencil from iStockPhoto. It took a while to complete, but I had fun with this one.
