I have Nero Essentials with the I/Omagic external DVD burner. Well, something went wrong while doing a incramental backup. It gives a "E drive is not accessable" warning. I checked the net, and Nero. and that is supposed to be the result of the INCD file missing. I have had a lot of trouble with this and I can't get all the files off my computer.

If, and when, I do get this thing cleared up  what would you all recommend with PSE and lightroom. Any suggestions ?

Are you looking to just back up your photos???
One of my systems (several years ago now) came with Nero bundled on it - couldn't figure it out and the documentation sucked. I wound up buying ROXIO which had by then bought out a product I used at work called CD-CREATOR and it made sense - have stayed with ROXIO ever since.

However, for backup I use SYNCTOY - a free software from Microsoft that allows for an incremental backup to an EHD or all of My Documents. SYNCTOY allows for an EHD to be managed in different forms - ECHO where changes from the left side are copied to the right or SYNCHRONIZE - where files from both sided are updated - based on the date time stamp of the files. I set mine up so that the Left side is my computer and the Right side is my EHD.

jlwilm: Thanks. I'll check them out. I just have to make sure I have removed all this Nero stuff first. Going to try to-nite if time and people permit.
