Hi people,
a
favicon is a teensy (usually 16 x 16 pixel) image that is to the left of the URL in the Address Box at the top of your browser. The PCE forum has the generic "piece of paper" icon that is what happens when there's no favicon.
The cool thing about favicons is that they will show in your bookmarks (I don't know what they're called in Internet Explorer) when you open the bookmarks window.
Our PrestoPhoto galleries have a favicon that is a white star in a black circle on a light greenish background.
Whoever pops the hood to work on this forum, Christian, it seems, can install a favicon.
