A favicon would be nice for the site.

I'm not familiar with that term - Is that like an RSS feed?

Hi people,
a favicon is a teensy (usually 16 x 16 pixel) image that is to the left of the URL in the Address Box at the top of your browser. The PCE forum has the generic "piece of paper" icon that is what happens when there's no favicon.

The cool thing about favicons is that they will show in your bookmarks (I don't know what they're called in Internet Explorer) when you open the bookmarks window.

Our PrestoPhoto galleries have a favicon that is a white star in a black circle on a light greenish background.

Whoever pops the hood to work on this forum, Christian, it seems, can install a favicon.

May I suggest Don Diego's gold square PCE logo that's in This Thread about banners.

Steve

If you decide to make one, it has to be saved as an ico file. I have them on sheilascorner.com and some of the other websites I do. You can see them there.

I would like to see one also. I don't care for seeing the (e), plus it makes things easier when you have quite a few tabs open.
